Nestor studied fine arts at the Ballarat College of Advanced Education before working as a production thrower for the historic Old Ballarat Pottery. This early piece was created at his independent studio located at Bald Hills near Creswick, Victoria. His work reflects a deep appreciation for the Australian landscape and is highly collectible for its regional mid-century charm.
