Vintage Art Deco Alabaster Bookends

This exceptional pair of mid-century bookends beautifully captures the spirit of the Art Deco movement. Hand-carved from genuine white alabaster, each piece features a stylized parakeet silhouette perched atop a stark, geometric wedge base. The minimalist lines highlight the smooth, sculptural form of the birds, making them an elegant addition to any collection.

Sophisticated Material & Details

Unlike dense marble, premium alabaster is prized for its remarkable translucent quality. When placed in natural sunlight or ambient lighting, the stone catches the illumination and gives off a soft, warm glow from within. The polished, creamy white surface offers a tactile richness that elevates a simple bookshelf, mantle, or desk setup.
