Pouches made from vintage kilim and wool rugs, a flat-woven textile traditionally produced in areas of Turkey. Each pouch is unique. These pouches are thoughtfully repurposed from handmade vintage kilims that were once treasured textiles from various provinces across Turkey—including Isparta, Manisa, Cappadocia, and Adana. Each piece began its life as a traditional rug, woven by hand and rich in cultural heritage. After years of use and having reached a state beyond repair, these textiles have been given new purpose as cushions—allowing their beauty, craftsmanship, and story to live on. These are not newly made pillow covers, but fragments of authentic, timeworn rugs, each carrying the character and history of its original form.
